The Boston Turning Works F102 Finial aka Faberge Egg

Tag: Home Decoradmin @ 6:00 PM

The Boston Turning Works F102 Finial is simply gorgeous and to me, reminiscent of the Faberge Egg. The smooth shape showcases the wood grain which comes alive if stained but likewise the smooth shape has a wonderful understated elegance if painted to compliment a décor.  These finials are not only a wonderful addition to the stair rail inside the home but think what a nice touch they would be on a pool surround or deck rail. While the Faberge Egg originated in Russia in the 1800’s, one certainly doesn’t have to be a Czar to have them adorning their home if they so choose now. Our house has a second floor cat walk across the great room below. We added these finials to the hand rail on the cat walk and not a person enters our great room without commenting on what a lovely touch they are!
