Looking for an affordable under counter water filter unit?  We did some research on the internet and found out that one of the most popular under counter water filter is the Aquasana brand of filters.  Made in the USA , this Texas company (Sun Water Systems) produces one of the most affordable and effective unit available. A twin cartridge system takes out over 99% of most contaminants.  Plus, the cost per gallon is the best we found on the net. At under 9 cents a gallon and not having to replace the cartridges but once every 6 months.  Every day we find a new article released talking about our water quality. Municipal water supply companies do their best, however they can’t possibly be as effective as filtering the water right before you drink it. Especially getting the chlorine out.

We choose the Aquasana AQ-4501 under counter filter with deluxe faucet. (Brushed nickel finish). Purchased it through a company called Better Water Store. Free shipping was included and we received ours in just a few days. There is an installation video on their website, however we didn’t need it as the directions and all of the parts were included.
