Using Up Leftover Holiday Ham
We usually spend holidays like Christmas, Thanksgiving and Easter with my husband’s extended family and the meat of choice is ham. There are always plenty of leftovers and we’re usually sent back home with several bags of various pieces of ham. I try to use them in different dishes from ham sandwiches to soups and stews. My favorite is this lima bean and ham stew. It makes a really good hardy, flavorful dish. It’s really good on a cold fall or winter day and the perfect way to use up leftover ham.
